Confused. Natwest banking
« on: September 09, 2013, 05:20:58 pm »
Regarding Natwest business tariffs.

I would like to pay a fixed amount of £25.00 for my business account. Does this mean all cheques and BACS payments into my account would be free?

The leaflet I have is very confusing.

Thanks in advance

Do they put a cap on the amount you can pay in per month?

Can't understand why anyone would pay that much!! £75 a year with co-op for unlimited banking.

Go and see them and if the say yes tell them it is misleading and you are to write to the  FSA. They might give you a few quid for your trouble to compensate  for your confusion.I challenged my bank once and they gave me 20 quid for my. trouble.

It is the Business Plus current account their is a monthly fee of £5.00 which is based on online transactions only but you will pay extra for paying in cheques and cash .

I dont pay cash in and only put 2 cheques in a month at the most . Mike

Oh I see, the cap is just for cash deposits. Nice one Garham!

Ask for the 321 credit card, you get 3% cashback on fuel, which for me covers the £7.50 monthly fee.

I'm in the process of switching to Santander as HSBC are charging me £75 - £120 a month.

They charge £1 every cheque after the first five.
£2.50 every £100 cash.....

Makes me sick.....

Rant over

Beware of Santander.  They seem to be much fonder of changing T & Cs than most banks.

Santander is better, Natwest virtually raped me .

And yeh the 123 card is good to, i use it for fuel and shopping and it pretty much pays for the business account and very easy to transfer all your dd ,They will do it all for you .

Though i would say Natwest is better for customer service Imo.

Had a Ted Rodgers moment there, it's the 123 card
