if i was to buy a clx 27 from you and cut my length to 4ft each.can i carry on slx sections afterwards?would it make my pole more rigid?

I dont think it would make much difference as its the top that will sway even if sections are 4 foot.

It would make the pole more rigid that using it at full section length. You would however lose the built in contrasting color overlap at the base of each section.

Alternatively, if you wanted shorter sections then you can buy the CLX22 and then use SLX extensions on this.

Even better though you could buy an SLX22 or SLX25 which is more rigid to start with.
