Cherry Picker with operator?
« on: September 07, 2013, 01:52:45 pm »
Can anyone give me any information on the hire of a cherry picker with a operator at the height of around 70/80ft?
Who can I hire from and a rough costing.
I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying.

I hired a truck mount cherry picker for a job 3 weeks ago. 22 metre reach, cost just over £450. My mates got a ticket to drive them so I paid him £100 to operate it for a few hours. It was cheaper than having it come with an operator.

The easiest option here and the most fruitful moving forward would be to get your own ticket.

It costs £200.00 plus VAT - you have it for 5 years and it shows your client your commitment. It's a one day course!

+1 to M-clean.

I recently hired a genie Z80 which was a grand a day. This gives you an idea of price for a machine that size.

Try Blade Access in Bradford, West Yorkshire they go anywhere in the UK and have some great machines with experienced (window cleaning) operators.
