Why not spin them around from inside - clean by hand first time then WFP from then on

Darran
Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

Its to do with your rinse angle make sure the jets are pointing slightly down towards the bottom of
the velux so you push the dirt down as you rinse.
If you rinse straight on it pushes the dirt up above the rinse.
Also rinse on for the first few inches as not to wet the top frame as they tend to leave runs.

May get lambasted for it but why not use some chemical on your brush, proper scrub then rinse until no bubbles...

Hi Shane, we supply many window cleaners with microcleaning hand pads and little waffle glass cloths which they use for cleaning Velux windows from the inside, just deep clean the outside panel first by wiping it with a slightly damp microcleaning pad this will remove any ingrained soils, then a quick wipe with a lightly damp waffle glass cloth and just polish off with a dry waffle cloth for a streak free finish, when cleaning the inside panel you just need to use a damp and a dry waffle cloth as the glass will be much easier to clean, this method is perfect when you are cleaning Velux windows from inside the premises as you wont have any drips or splashes.

It maybe mastic or other contaminants in which case you could always offer to go inside and clean it (they swing around 180 degrees).
