Best transfer pump (or other method)
«

Hi all,
I purify in the back garden and pump to the front, at the moment I use a very slow water butt pump and garden hose. I'm looking to change this to a dirty water sub, 240v to speed up the process. Does anyone have any experience in using long lay flat (or other hoses) with these when transferring over 30m (and round corners) or so? I'm thinking I would probably need preformed plastic corners to stop any bottlenecking
Any experience would be great
Thanks
David

Rigid hose only. Lay flat would be destroyed in days.
Gardiners or Screwfix.

at the moment I use normal garden hose on my pump, would it be fast if I used a bigger size diameter hose? as there is a fitting for one I have never thought about it until now

def faster using a larger diameter hose. I bought a black 1.5 inch hose from the local aquatic centre and have a Clarke sub pump, fills a 200 litre tank in about 5 minutes.
