We are more than happy to supply the correct products and have absolutely no problem with the sheen of any top coats if required - I have stated this to Darren in our exchange of emails.
You get what you pay for Graeme
Paul please keep up to date with coatings - this is an aniline dyed leather with a tinted finish - checked it out today

Blimy this part of the forum is bitchy!
Thanks for the advice/help from everyone.
Purely in the interest if this (ahem) debate, I'll take the sample to an independent adjudicator and post the results.

Nope. I'm a window cleaner.
The fella who told me what it was has nothing to do with LTT (far as I'm aware) and from what I can see has nothing to do with this forum either.
Has no vested interest in taking sides on the matter.

Looks to me like you and Judy both put an opinion across on what I had.
You were incorrect (we all make mistakes)
I think you should man up and admit that on this occasion you didn't make the right call but Judy did.
Judy-all credit to you. I'll be buying some if your stuff. The guy that told me what was what (who I am sure is very good at his job) was quite expensive.
And I've got 2 kids so there's no telling the damage that could happen along the line and I'll have a bit of stuff left over to patch future marks.

Thanks for your help here guys.
