Advertising for canvassers
« on: August 21, 2013, 08:33:13 am »
Where's the best place to advertise for canvassers?  Have looked on gumtree but they wanted loads of money to advertise- am I going to be looking at this situation everywhere?
Thanks!
Joe

With Gumtree, you can only post one free job ad per email. Create a new email for each advert you do and you shouldn't have to pay.

The best way to build a solid business is to go and canvass yourself... Get to know the customers etc...

If you want to get the best person, then you need to offer the right incentives.    Too many people expect someone who is going to transform their business who will work for peanuts, and be self employed !

We have had no luck advertising for canvassers lately. Gumtree has never worked well for us. What do you think is a decent yearly salary for a full time canvasser?

Too right why pay good money when if im honest anyone can knock on a door and ask if they need a window cleaner.. Paying x2 is a win! Paying 1 clean is a better win! Paying £5 per new customer is magic!!.  ;D
