Xtreme Pole
« on: August 18, 2013, 01:25:13 pm »
Used our xtreme 47 pole today with 2 extra section on and wow what a handful  :o  the bend was horrible!! Can't imagine using it at 80ft I think 55ft maybe my limit now :?

Upto 55ft it's still an amazing pole!! Maybe I just need to learn how to use it over 55ft

Stu - still getting all the good jobs!   ;D

I think you should stick with the extreme and sell  me your sl2 I could do with a second one.  :P

Used my SL2 at 50ft nearly all day on Friday, so light and rigid. Finished the day off using slx 25 on one house and it was noticeably heavy and less rigid. Wish I could use SL2 for all my jobs as it's such a breeze due to rigidity and lightness, shame it's a modular pole.

Have you used any other poles at that height? Looks like a bit if a bend but not too bad really...
I'm really interested to see one at 80ft compared to the Ionic Swift+.
Anyone got any actual experience if the two?
If so, would you post please?

To use the xtreme with extension sections the pole hose needs to be on the outside as the extension sections are modular.

I have used the SL2 at 70ft and that too bends quite a bit and is hard to move! Not used any other make of pole so can't compare!  :)

I'd appreciate it if you could.
If you can get a pic of both in use that'd be even better!
I've just bought an extreme (not used it yet) with a view to putting enough extensions to get rid of my Ionic Ergolite 72'. Love the pole put always feel a bit vulnerable as it won't fit in my van so goes on the roof rack.
If anyone has any experience if the 72' vs the 80ft extreme, I'd really like to have a chat...
