I think we should all take a moment to think of Richy Franklin at the moment. Tomorrow he is taking part in the Ironman triathlon in Kalmarr Sweden. Most of us would struggle to compete one of those events in the time he'll take to do all three.

Richy is doing this all for an excellent cause, you can read about it here and donate https://www.justgiving.com/richard-franklin2/

Also you can follow us progress here http://www.ironman.com/triathlon/coverage/athlete-tracker.aspx?race=kalmar&y=2013#axzz2c9UCtCgI  tomorrow as the event unfolds.

And the rest.

He wears a colostomy bag, must be in his 70s. Fair play to him though doing this with that thing hanging round his arse!

When I did my sponsored bike ride across India Andrew Willis sponsored me to the tune of £500.

I think it says a lot about the man to be honest, he's a better person than a lot of people on here.

he's a better person than a lot of people on here because he can afford to give away £500?

Ben-that is the shallowest post I've ever seen.
We can all afford to lose £500. All of us.
Giving it to charity is something only a very selected few, or one, have chosen to do.
Whatever you think about the bloke and impactkerching doing things like that is admirable.

he is a great guy and for that i agree with you Darren but i don't think we can all afford to lose £500! Actually is not losing £500 but giving £500 to charity, not the same at all!
Well done to him, top bloke but i don't think he is better than me or you on here because he gave £500, it was my point  ;)
