Stopping collecting
« on: August 12, 2013, 12:00:07 pm »
I still have about 160 customers a month i collect from

I want to stop from sept so i can finish work to pick up my daughter from school and not have to return to the rounds which are between 13-18 miles from home

how would you word a note saying you arent going to collect anymore so pay by cheque / bacs?

Just tell them you are due to the amount of customers. Will only be able to do banks internet transfer or posted cheques and provide a SAE.

just outline the payment options you will offer in the future and that you will no longer be collecting in the evenings.

they can pay you when you come to clean or on one of the other methods.

they'll be fine with it.

if they speak to you personally just explain about being home for your daughter.  who could argue with that!

I think sean great reason to explain to custy also may be worth mentioning your not going to change prices at the moment so they will be saving by helping u out ! just be prepare to to outline it's your wage so if they can pay ASAP otherwise they may put it on long finger & all good intentions etc....
