New Leaflet design, what do you think?
« on: August 07, 2013, 11:20:01 am »

Just designed this leaflet. What do you think? The last one I did had an offer on for £99.00 for gutters fascia and soffits etc and I think they saw the £99 and it put people off, that said i did get a dozen want that service out of 7000 leaflets. This is printed on 300 gramm A6 card,

I thought about that but I work in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire they all have different area codes.

I wouldn't use anyone with a flyer that only listed a mobile number. Having said that you do have your full contact details listed on your website, so that's good.

Overall I like your flyer.

Hi, Most mobile networks offer a virtual landline that goes to your mobile, you can have an unlimited amount of virtual numbers I would get me for each area you cover, will increase customer takeup.

You could add at the bottom "Give me a try.  I'm reliable but I won't tell you where you can find me."

Personally, I'm not in favour of advertising that appears to take a swipe at other companies - whether that be overt like yours or more covert.
Also, IMO it's not a good idea anyway to mention negatives - even if it is about the opposition.  The wording that stands out is "unreliable window cleaners" and "fed up."  Both are very negative.  Good advertising works on the readers' subconscious.
After the negative lines that stand out is the bit that looks like a toothpaste ad :).

I want to be clear about this.  I'm not having a go.  My criticism is constructive because to it I'm adding:  Highlight the positives of your own business without mentioning the possible negatives of other people's.  Landline number/0800/ or even an 0845 (marked lo-call rate) would be a plus and your home or business address would be a massive plus.

Change the headline to "Are you looking for a reliable window cleaner"

add your home address as "Office Address ................."

Very good points, the reason I put about unreliable window cleaner was because 3 weeks ago i canvassed an estate and got 30 customers in two days, they all said we used to have *********** and he hasnt been back in months. He has moved onto another trade. Ive got my address on website as it can easily be changed, I may move shortly so didntbother to put an address on here. Thanks for input though , im interested in 0845, never thought of that.

"specialise", not "specialize"

Landline numbers from TTNC are £25 and they redirect to a landline for 2p per minute after that.  Landline number is a must IMHO.

Thanks for taking it in the right spirit Kevin.  I wondered after posting if I'd been a little harsh.  I'm not that sort of person though  :)
