Prob means they don't want a monthly clean if they do this often so your best offering them a 2 monthly clean, they should be ok then. If they still do it at 2 monthly then dump them, not worth having crap on your round causing you stress.

Depends if you want to run the risk of losing them.
I (sometimes) reply "I'll remove you from our database"
9/10 they reply saying they just want to miss this one which gives you the opportunity to explain that "not this time" is unacceptable-politely.
If they cancel, ask yourself if that's the sort of customer you really want? (You may, I'm not judging)

If its the odd customer here and there just except it. I always have! There is always a reason why a customer would want you to skip a month weather its there having work done or skint etc. as said if it happens a lot then replace customer with a better 1.

8weekly

I have just had one do exactly that. It is a house that had an extension built and as a result I have only done the twice in the last 18 months. This was due to be the third clean following the work. Dumped.

depends if your full or not ............. if your not full and REALLY need the money when they "allow" you to clean then you have to swallow it for now ... if your full then offer them 8 weekly at a little price increase maybe

however you could just do what I did when this happened and just drop em immediately  :o - but thats me and prob lost some okish customers along the way however I only wanted lovely brilliant customers on my books and just okish didnt hit the criteria

interestingly of all the ones i binned only 1 has ever called me to see what was going on and she went 8 weekly and has been a lovely brilliant customer since.

+1

Personally I would give all 2 monthlys an extra chance if they do it 2nd time within the year I would Send them a message Stating dear customer your acc has been downgraded to a one off service please be advised should you use us again the price will be 3x more sometimes they call bk and reconsider , One Thing I learned over the years Is not to argue with them or explain things to them in person at the door They normally assume you are just begging or want something from them. Just say no problems walk away then about 7 weeks later when windows are dirty send the message out. Also put in it you have 3 working days to change your mind some will other tight gits won't ;)

HA HA, I had a similar one on sunday.   I had 1 customer who insisted that I only clean on a saterday and she HAD to be in.  I promised myself as soon as I filled my round that she was the first to go.

True to my word I went to clean her 2 months ago and just got my money and said thanks and walked away with a smile....

when she called 2 weeks ago I said sorry but I dont do Saturdays anymore,  she said "sorry I will have to let you go then"  to which I replied "ok " and put down the phone...

she called back on sunday and said can i clean her windows during a weekday.  I agreed.

My learned lesson is not to take any more nonsense from customers any more.

Pretty much the best way to do it, except on a larger scale send a profesional looking message out with your website if you have one, laying down the law people WILL do it the way you want to but they will try there luck some will not change there mind others will see the light and join your empire , the message will also gobsmack them that you have removed them from the round; its not what they expect they want you to suffer and come back to an area only to do there house on Saturday cos they want to be in with me they get what they want once then the message goes out life's too short and keep remembering your time is more valuable
