Just fitted my poles with a clamp upgrade. The thing is, no one mentioned that the clamp is spring loaded.
Maybe it's because all my poles are new but not overly impressed with the new clampsI get more spins now than I did with older style clamp as they seem to unwind themselves when opening and closingDarran
I think everyone has the same problem, you get them perfect for an hour or so, then they need adjusted. I can live with that though, it has to be better than binning the whole pole or farting around with 2 part and sand paper every few week's.
[quote Shouldn't need adjusting this often - sounds like the nylock is not working on the bolts. I adjust mine about once a month maximum.

I find they need to be tightened up quite a bit too...
i think they are brilliant!i only have to adjust the odd one or two about once a week.
Why don't you have a quick google before making stupid comments?
Have to fiddle with mine every day. Can't tell if the pole is wearing so fast or the clamps are winding loose. Had to glue another one back on yesterday. In spite of all that I think they are a huge improvement over the old ones.
