if you do a good job and have a nice signage van, the word of mouth is enough, don't need a canvasser! maybe when you start but you can do it yourself, and after that no need to canvass or leaflets IMAO

I think there are a more canvassing companies around at the moment because there are more people setting up as window cleaners who buy all the equipment and the realise they need some customers to - to actually have a business.

Give it a couple of years and less window cleaners will be setting up so there won't be so many canvassers around then either.

Ok I really really really dont want to come on to this forum and Im sure you lot will tell me to p of ( and i have no problem with this at all whatsoever) lets get that out of the way with first.  Here come the questions.

A. Have ever of you picked up the phone in your area (I doubt it)
B Have ever have you tried out of the box stuff
C You expectations of other people picking up business (When you havent tried it yourself, and that amazes me in itself)
D Knocking Whizz Bizz WHEN HE HAS MADE IT QUITE CLEAR HOW IT WORKS, yet the abuse still carries on
E We get messers, and we do the same as you, but know thats no ok we have to put up with messers - WE GET IT TOO NOT JUST YOU
F Free advertising from this forum , where I have to pay ( mods you know who I am talking about but you do nothing)

Can I and whizz bizz have free advertising? Along with everybody else?  I know that Whizzbizz does over and beyond what he needs to do.  And Silly girlie messages, oh he didnt answer the phone......Because like Mark we filter stuff out its business, neither of us are here to baby stuff your serious or your not.  Simples

Been there done that!
i have 1100 domestic customers mainly 4 weekly averaging at £12 a customer due to mainly £10 fronts and a 22k of commercial work a year!! Do the maths.. Thats why i dont go and hit the streets for others like you i like repeat work and repeat money.
I have my own team who build me up and wc friends i have and also now my stepdad! Im more than capable but choose not too.
Why dont you go and do the dishes or something usefull instead of coming onto a window cleaning forum making out you are something special when all you do is pi$$ people off and then get your nickers in a twist and delete your account!!.
