It's both isn't it...
No way would I want my USP as 'cheap' though.
Don't worry about them bud, the ones you'll lose are the ones you'd not want anyway.
Happened to me this week.
Win some/lose some.
I lost £27.50 on two jobs and gained £35 on 2 jobs. Bet you're about the same...

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it mate - people aren't daft
At the end of the day you get what you pay for

He'll soon regret underpricing his work - the satisfaction will come when any customers you lose call up asking for your service again  ;D

i know guys who ve lost whole streets of work to guys charging half as much as them but guess what?they were doing a rubbish job anyway!frames, sills and doors very rarely cleaned and unreliable.

LOOK AFTER YOUR CUSTOMERS!and dont take ANY of them for granted and decent customers will not take these guys on ever.
price higher/work harder!

Think how skint you would be if you charged half what you charge now. Seriously, HALF your turnover? Would you carry on cleaning windows on HALF what you earn? I doubt it.

He has no overheads and probably claims or has a job on the side.
I wouldnt carry on cleaning for half the price.
I have heard he leaves people with round windows.

He won't last very long if that's true.

Then neither will he.

They are not your problems and some people will always want cheap.
Let him get on with it and if he can get away with it maybe his customers and him are well suited. And you can snaffle the ones that are not happy with him, of course.

What a turnaround.
The fella that undercut me in one area-one of his customers has just rang me asking to clear her gutters.
I said I only do gutters for windows customers-she said come and do my windows too!
Going Friday.
Isn't it a funny world-if he hadn't undercut me I'd've said no.
Feeling quite smug tbh.

And a bit childish.
