You must have accidentally got one of our newer batch!

These have a two position control switch. Switch to position I allows the flow controller to be operated with a lower maximum flow setting. Switched to position II allows the pump to pump at full speed with no flow control available.

Is there a new batch coming out soon then Alex? As I need to replace mine that's just started to fail (typically just outside warranty), but one of the reasons i've not gone ahead so far is that the flow controller on mine has been dicey, repaired by yourself once already.

We do have a container full of the new ones, but we do still have some of the current model to work our way through. Not enormous changes, but an improvement to the lower level adjustability of flow rates.

Hi Alex, we recently purchased your gardiners backpack and would like to query the rate of the water flow on its lowest rate as we are lucky to be able to clean three standard windows before it runs out of water. Is there any way to slow the flow down further as I am using it on the lowest setting or is that the normal expectancy from the backpack??

It can mean low battery (as has already been said) or too low a flow setting for the pump.

Could you not put a flow valve on it to slow things down?

yeah lol clean a window in what 15 seconds x 3 windows with aquadapter inbetween say a min to clean three windows time on the glass that pump must be pushing 17 liters a min
