Multiple websites or one?
« on: August 04, 2013, 11:09:17 pm »
Not sure where to post this question

But if i wanted to have say car valeting, oven cleaning, pressure washing, carpet cleaning

what would be be best, a seperate website for each (maybe linking to all other sites)
or one site with a page for each service? or does it not matter?

 :)

Both have one "do it all" and several specialist ones. Websites can lose ranking for no apparent reason! best to have a back up one. www.northwestdriveclean.com www.northwestdriveclean.co.uk    Websites are cheap get a few built and get the indians to promote them... www.peopleperhour.com.

Be careful of duplicate content thought. Google sees it as spam if a few websites have the same text or text very similar.

Can you trust any SEO/advertising  people?
Website design will be fine as you can see what you are paying for..don't release the money till you are happy. Use an intermediary.
Yes i use them..i have not had any problems.

The gasser is as close to home as I could get but I'm not sure about TM. I'm a smoker fan and the CCM used a Suzuki DRZ engine, the later ones used the YZF engine but had a glued up frame.  I may be guilty of kettle but I'm also no Jap fan either as they used the flood money to fund the whaling fleet but thats another story. By the way I'm not racist as I have a coloured telly.  ;)

I offer Window Cleaning, Pressure Cleaning and Gutter Cleaning...

I have separate sites for each service - I don't have any signage on my van as yet - but when I do I will advertise all 3 and have a main website which links off to each separate site.

yeah think thats way im gonna go. would rather just have one service on, looks  a bit more pro to specialise in one area imo, but need the diversity.

Thats a good job I don't give two hoots what you think. Out sourcing seo to India or the such is bang out of order when there are more than able people in this country scratching their bottom wanting work. If the moderators are on your side of the fence then get them to ban me - so be it, Who is the moderator ? I have asked before and nobody came forward !

It not the principle of outsourcing which I am questioning its the phrase you have used, frankly its embarrassing to read it, especially on a forum its 2013 not 1960's.

I like the indians...very respectable folk. If i did not receive so much bulls**t from the english SEO people (who in turn outsource  to india) i would use them.
I skype them at night after work and in the morning when i wake up the work is done.... how civilised.

On February 4th, 2013, Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, addressed the
Duma, (Russian Parliament), and gave a speech about the tensions with
minorities in Russia:
"In Russia live Russians. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live
in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, should speak Russian, and should
respect the Russian laws. If they prefer Sharia Law, then we advise them to
go to those places where that's the state law. Russia does not need
minorities. Minorities need Russia, and we will not grant them special
privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how
loud they yell 'discrimination'. We better learn from the suicides of
America, England, Holland and France, if we are to survive as a nation. The
Russian customs and traditions are not compatible with the lack of culture
or the primitive ways of most minorities. When this honorable legislative
body thinks of creating new laws, it should have in mind the national
interest first, observing that the minorities are not Russians."
The politicians in the Duma gave Putin a standing ovation for five minutes.
If you keep this to yourself, you are part of the problem!

I can see his point ;)
