It was takings for the last couple of days I was planning on going into the bank after I'd finished for the day to pay in cash and cheques. I know I only have myself to blame for leaving keys in the van you just don't expect people to have the audacity to come onto your property and steal from you like that!
Just dont forget the thieves came through your back door and stole the keys off your table else you wont get a bean.
Takings off all first cleans till march 7th 2014
October  total=  cleaned  extra per month
November = cleaned extra per month
Total £  so far.

If they find out that the keys were actually in the ignition, then you'll be facing a criminal court case for fraud as well as no money paid out.

No offense, but I object to having to pay higher premiums for those who think it's ok to make fraudulent insurance claims.

I didn't leave the keys in the ignition. They were in the side pocket, although thanks for your contribution you've been most helpful!

Oh hush.

Don't get me wrong I do feel sorry for you and I genuinely hope you get your van back undamaged and that the police catch the theiving scum that took it.  And yes it is outrageous that someone would have the audacity to steal your van right off the drive, it is shocking.

But I don't agree with insurance fraud, or the fact that we all have to pay for it, that's all.

What about the insurance company is it not fraud when they try to wiggle out of paying because
of a mistake made by the owner.
Yes he left the keys in the van but it was on his property and he thought it would be safe.
Most of the fraud we all pay extra for is actually committed by the insurance companies.
Example... I had my van bashed last year priced to get it fixed by a guy I knew £280 told my insurance this
but they didn't want to know.
My Insurance sent me to a dealer that does all their repair work and the price was £1300 that's
over a grand more that we all have to pay for.
The guy who priced £280 has a totally legit business and to be honest would have done a better job.
And what about the practice of selling on your information to claims companies.
Even if he hadn't left the keys in the van he still wouldn't get back the true value of the van.

have you a spare set
Insurance companies have been known to ask for the keys if they dont get them  questions usually follow
(They are very devious)
Once they know your left the keys in the van you wont get diddly
Stand before my gates and be judged

Sorry if this reads wrong and I don't mean this as a criticism.

Every so often on this forum there is a posting about a van being stolen and each time the keys were either in the van or in the ignition or the engine was running.

I never ever leave my keys in the van or ignition even if I'm a few feet away. If I get out the van the keys go with me even if it's for 5 seconds to shut a rear door properly.

I'm amazed that despite vans getting stolen that anyone in any part of the country however rural and 'safe' would leave the keys in the van.

I guarantee before the year is out, there will be another posting about a van being stolen.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

It what is known as making a mistake if people didn't make mistakes then there would be no
need for insurance.
