Ro Waste pressure
«

Hello
I have just taken on a garage & am planning on installing a 450gpd RO- will the waste water have enough force coming from its exit to pump over a 8 ft wall & 30 Meters up the garden to the nearest waste pipe? Or am I better off installing some polypipe and just pumping waste over the wall & let it drain into poly pipe?

we used to run about 30 mt of waste pipe up a hill so from that experience i would say yes you should be fine..your problem however will be when the frosts and deep freezes come as the waste pipe will just freeze solid full of water as soon as the r/o stops running, and if its frozen while the r/o is running you could damage your membranes & system with all the built up pressure.
