Brodex
« on: August 01, 2013, 11:44:17 am »
Guys just a word of Warning from first hand experience.
We recently purchased a Pole from Brodex and the service received has been nothing short of diabolical.

The worst thing about the whole experience has been the constant lies and rubbish they have fed us while we complained.

We have received Emails from them saying Item has been dispatched, then when it hasn't turned up we have phoned them only to be told that the item has been out of stock for weeks,we then tell them to cancel and hey presto they find one to send out ,but when we open it the parts won,t fit together. They sent the wrong type of Brush.

Again we phone them and are told a replacement part will be sent out, to arrive the following day, this never happened so again we phone and are told "our manager wont send replacement part out until they get the wrong part back" shame they never told us. We waited in for a delivery that wasn't even sent ! BUYER BEWARE

mate, im sorry you had that experience, but im afraid most already know how aweful they are, as for buying the wrong type of brush, every pole and brush is the wrong type from them, gardners cheapest pole is better than brodex's best pole.
the following companies i have found to be much better for you

Gardiner pole systems
pheonix
vyair - pumps
daqua - ro systems etc
aquadpater

these companies seem to have great customer service and between them i can get whatever i need

Brodex used to be great! I never used anyone else untill pure freedom and gardiners etc came onto the scene with better goods at better prices! Sorry brodex but unless you pull something major out of the hat you will slowly vanish.

This is old news that most on here know.
To help you with something else you may not know, don't buy a traffic, vivaro or nissan primstar? from 2002 to 06 and even avoid them from 06 if there is another alternative. ;D

What makes me wonder, is how Brodex have earned their money, seeing how the service is so bad ?

I know 2 people who had van systems fitted by them . 1 about 6 years ago , and it is still working fine and he is very happy. The other about 2 years ago and he hasn't had any problems .they both quickly dumped the poles tho.  ;D never bought owt myself .

Don't beat me down cause its just my opinion but I think the 18 hydro actually isn't that bad a pole. Haven't got one anymore as others are better. I just think they're not as bad as a lot of people seem to make out.
Last longer. Cheap. What's not to like.
Couldn't use anything over 18 though. A mate if mine has the 30 and it nearly bends double

I bought a used Brodex system already fitted in a van, which came with a number of poles.

System is great.

Poles are strong enough but heavy and the longer the get, the bendier they get.

I use Gardiners and side by side there's no comparison.

The longest Brodex Pole that came with the van is 45 foot + and I have used it a few times (had no choice as the longest Gardiners is the SLX-35 and not enough very high work to justify the expense). If they sold it with Viagra, then they may solve a problem, that's all I'm sayin'  :o
