ive never offered this but a few customers have asked me in the past.ive got a cheap electric jetwash off my dad and i love using it!im off to jetwash girlfriends patio today after cleaning her driveway on sunday.it came up great!

when i get my new van i will have room for a jetwash.just wondering what ones you guys use and do you hook it up to your tank or use the customers outside taps(if they have one).

id want a petrol one obviously as im not gonna use customers electric.

im not sure whether itll be worth buying one yet and im not sure how you price various driveways up either.also block paving jobs surely you ll end up blasting the sand out of the gaps with a jetwash?so do you re sand when finished or buy one of them whirly thingies?(not sure what their called!!).

We have just started out pressure washing look in the general cleaning thread for an idea on washers really your looking at a couple of grand to get quality reliable and more importantly powerful machine. The cheapo stuff will take far too long to do a decent job and cause no end of problems

Min u need is 250 bar with 15 litres per min buy a honda - I use a 14hp gx390 with above mentioned flow.

Yes sand needs replacing with kiln dried but only when everything dry which is normally next day.

I price high and not bothered if it comes off but when it does its double my window day rate and do em on a Saturday which at a good easy pace allows me to do 2 jobs.

Prob looking at about £1200 ish to get everything pressure washer water butt couple of lances turbo nozzle FSC

If u go to gen cleaning don't mention words like window cleaner and add on service or be like a live chicken getting thrown into a lion enclosure - see u tube for video

Hi dazmond.
     I just use customers tap and if you going to buy a pressure washer  buy it new and if possible get honda, Dont buy cheap ones off ebay as the pumps shatter and water comes out like a shower.
As for the sand . Get a wet and dry vac and hoover it up . Also a good waterproof top and bottoms.

I politely disagree with what's been said.
Mine was an ebay jobbie. £180, all in. It's not gonna set the world on fire but it does me fine.
Hook it up to customers tap but it draws from my pure tank too, so for a little job you can be completely self sufficient.
I posted the link not too long ago.
Obviously it's not a Honda or a Whirlaway but it's not hitting you for £2k in the skyrocket either.

Don.t waste youre money I did power washing for fiive years as a add on to window cleaning got pro kit but alot of people will not pay the money that you need to do the job to make a profit.Bloody hard graft and garanteed to get filfy.

Hi , we kitted out with a professional set up two months ago and have not looked back since,,pull one to two jobs a week and we price well for this service, you won't go wrong with a Honda and if you're in it for the long haul buy the best kit you can afford, a Honda gx390 is my recommendation, i done a fair bit of research before I bought mine, speak to Damian at Qwashers as he comes highly recommended by a lot of the guys on the general cleaning section of this forum, hope this helps

well after 5 hours of jet washing yesterday mostly in pouring rain.i was covered in muck,wet and it gave me a very sore neck from looking down IM OUT!!

it was just a thought lads.i think its better just to keep it simple as a sole trader and offer the conny roof/fascia/solar panels as add ons with the window cleaning.

ive got enough work as it is but thought by adding jet washing it would make a change.i didnt realise it is hard work looking down esp for my neck.worse than looking up all day poling!
