You won't need to, they will almost certainly be ringing him I bet.  

There are plenty of ionic customers who come on here and will report it.  If they've paid to get an ionics system and use the logo, then its in their interest to help ionic enforce it.  I know of at least 2 occassions that this has happened.  with one the guy had to change his website so no big deal, the other he had to have his sign-writing removed and re-done at great cost.

No end of lads round here have that water drippy man logo thing and they ain't using Ionic's a can tell ya!
Also, what about that god awful picture of the blue glass and yellow pole taken from the point of view of the brush looking down. The world and it's wife seems to have that on their site. On an early version of my site the fella put it on mine-told him to drop it as it irritates me every time I see it!

Lee-in this thread you've put you've got Ionic kit in your wagon but in another thread you've put you're DIY.
Can you tell the difference between them? I know you've got a few wagons on the road, wondered if you always had the same one for you-if you know what I mean?

yes they are that hot on it. It is a registered trade mark the same as any other registered trade mark.

NoI have never said in any thread we have DIY systems. Our vans are all ionic as is the new one that will be with us in 2 weeks time. Could you be confused with me saying I have DIY hot water installations? that is the only part we have done ourselves. Which is why I dont put the thermo pure logo on our vans.

I can see your point they are very expensive for what they are so I suppose part of it is paying for the Ionic brand.
I'd be interested to know if they have ever taken action against anyone who's used it unofficially.

HI thankyou for all your input.  I just got back from cleaning a conservatory ni the rain. perks of the job  . I will ring ionics tomorrow morning as if its a trademark picture and they are offended in anyway. i will remove it and replace it with another design. I will let you all know the out come .

I can understand why Ionics would not like anyone using their logo. But i cant see the point in anyone else being bothered. after all who other than other window cleaners even know who the heck ionics are, what they do, or if their gear is any different?
Its the customers I worry about and all they worry about is if I can get the muck off their windows not whose equipment I use to do it.



And NO i dont use Ionics and if I did I certainly would not advertise it. (unless they paid me)

Great news . just put a new design together, rang my sign guy, emailed him the pic. He liked it, said no charge for putting it together and fitting it  . Still going to ring to see what is said and at the same time be a bit of info for others
