exhaust extension for honda gx270
« on: July 29, 2013, 10:41:04 pm »
hi

this is a bit of a longshot. i've got a 5kva generator that runs off a honda gx270. it's very heavy and it would be great if i could just run it in the back of the van without having to lift it. is there any sort of exhaust extension i can add to it so the van doesn't fill up with carbon monoxide? or if i made one would it have any effect on the running of the engine?

anyone know?

I use wheelbarrow frame to make exhaust extensions as they have every bend you could need. The exhaust extension on my trailer takes the gases down next to the plastic tank ansd saves the tank melting. The black and green hammerlin barrow tubes fit inside each other.
