David
When we get the purchase order (the agreement for works) I email the paperwork, signed by me as the author, I then have two copies on site.
Both are signed by all operators.
One then goes to the construction managers and we keep a copy in the van, for reference.
The daily review sheet comes into play if we can't follow the original method statement. I do the method statement & risk assessment of a store that is not a construction site.
By the time we get there there could be a million reasons for it to change. So the onsite supervisor looks at the job in hand & method statement, if something is in the way, he redoes it and gets it signed off and retains a copy.
Basically covers everyones backside.
Tired Chris??
