Got to ask the question. If your other site is working, why the 'not earning' posts?.

You have a good stone restoration site - it doesn't add up

Is the second site not bringing any work in?.

What work is the Smartseal site bringing in?

I wonder how many people will start pressure washing after reading all this talk about money.
i agree, Roger you target affluent areas inc London customers are prepared to pay over the top compared to other areas of the country, plus you have established check a trader which helps massively, users in our area are a hundred times lower than your area! Can't see a single op earning £400 per day in the majority of the country. But don't think this is the place to discuss earnings if it was a closed forum no prob, but on one hand guys are expressing high rates, holidays etc then we moan about wcs incorporating pressure washing as an add on. Can't have it both ways.

Mike,
I wouldn't say my customers are paying over the top prices compared to other parts of the country.

Roger,
You have mentioned to me some of the prices you get for your 'roof top' cleans ! realistically you wont get near that outside of London, where I said 'over the top' its not that your charging over the top prices its simply they can afford to pay it - its simply nothing to them. For an example we completed Roof clean in Watford charged more than normal due to its location - customer paid top dollar plus roof coating, hedgehog guard, decking clean and Indian sandstone drive plus patios. NO question about price paid by bacs on completion of each stage.

Do you not think young chris maybe on a slight wind up   ::)roll

We charge by the sq mt, same rate in London as any other areas we do, don't do postcode pricing so yes I do get the same rate wherever, customers have a choice take it or leave it.

Chris

Get a CSCS card - 40 quid.

I will give you a day on one of my vans and we can move it forward from there.

There will be no man love though

Rob
Thank you for the offer.I appriciate it but...I can do the work no problem I just can't get it.
Matt
I retired from working for companies , living in b&b's, generally being an industrial prostitute. I don't miss power stations, oil refinerys, night shifts, making sure my team of "specialists" make it to the job and not the jail , i don't miss the all important paperwork that can be mysteriously swept aside when the power stations only option is us or being shut down and filled with cement.
I like being at home every day (end) ,I like my girlfriend and not the next barmaid! I like the money that i am going to earn cleaning driveways...£1000 a  week  a bit of a pay cut but we all have to make sacrifices ;D I like Rob.

Be around like minded people. If I knew how to do the work but couldn't get the work I would get around the people that can get the work.

I would be asking the people who can get the work for their time, offering my labour for free, to see what they do differently.

I would be asking how, what, why,  methods, marketing, looking at their approach, people can see confidence and if YOU don't think you are going to get work when you are quoting then you wont get it.

Positive, positive, positive

It comes to me.

I get a bit from the website but overall it is like Roger - recommendation.

I have got the CSCS & IPAF & SSSTS now so we fill the requirements that a lot of others wouldn't. Safe contractor is being done and I will be looking into CHAS once that is complete.

What you know about blasting I can use and it could be in both our interests but you have this 'not wanting to get your hands dirty attitude'

You do know your stuff mate and you probably have a lot to offer but if there's nothing coming in you have to get momentum  ;)

All my life "my hands have been dirty" ...blasting is not for me. I don't mind calcite etc but i am not interested in industrial blasting or cleaning for that matter.I get asked to do the odd jobs now and then but i definitely choose which ones i want .... if they interest me.
I spent six months with a TORC system cleaning angels an gargoyle's in Manooth ireland that was a good job.

Why didn't you buy the unhyphenated one - www.paintremoval.co.uk - was it not available?

I may be interested in the domain name, price dependent?

Google does not recognize hyphens but it does recognize the spacing of a paragraph or phrase in a search term.
When searching you would not type in paintremovalstoke you would type paint removal stoke.
So google would not"see" the hypens  in Paint-removal-stoke  it reads it as paint removal stoke....your search term.
Hence the spacing of the letters is what is important.
I think i have confused myself!  Try it
