No Matt, they work off a venturi, sucking water up via a nozzle in the skatter and sending it down the discharge hoe to wherever you want.... Ie next doors drain  ;D

Bit like the new Karcher I have just bought for rooftop stuff we do

Hi,
Prices start at £1800.00 for the small skate then £4k for the larger one. Would love a Falch machine and tools. Why are they so expensive?

Because they are so well built.  We have had a lot of Falch Gear over the years but it does retain it's value if it is looked after!  The initial outlay is always daunting but if it's any consolation the 2nd Hand values in Germany are even higher in a lot of cases.  A tip for owners of any Falch equipment is to make sure it is registered with Falch in Germany and they will then normally send you parts direct for the machine.

No I don't do roofs and gutters Kenny, only roof-top patios, terraces, decking and balconies also good for when working around ponds as well, they have a new flat surface model that has a suction hose with a venturi nozzle so you can aim the dis-charge down drains, flower-beds etc.
