Gortex jackets

I know its early to be thinking but for anyone who wants a decent jacket , https://www.craghoppers.com are having a sale with nearly 60% off. Gortex jackets for about £75.00

cheers davids!just ordered one!my north face goretex jacket has just about had it after a years use!! :( :(

ive worn my north face jacket all through the winter and most of last summer due to the wet summer we had but the material near the pockets has worn away leaving little holes!it was twice the price of the craghoppers one as well.

Berghaus 3 in 1 for me. Lasted 2 winters now and still going strong although I'll re spray it with the waterproof spray this winter.

Gortex isn't for cold, its for rain. It will keep you dry on a wet day.

I've just had a Rab Event jacket. Remember the Event & Goretex fabrics only work well if you wash them regularly and get them in the tumble dryer. keeps the fabric pores clear and let's it do it's job ;)
