an slx or supermax is great on high straight up windows.much more rigid than a clx but when cleaning at angles(velux or solar panels)then they are pretty bendy and heavy.

if your budget will stretch buy an Xtreme 47.much lighter and rigid esp at angles.
price higher/work harder!

Clx poles are a pile of poo! To over rated by people who are too tight to buy an slx or extreme.

SLX35 is a great pole but still a bit flexi at deeper angles.

I'm happy to give it the thumbs up.

I also have a CLX 27 and this is also OK but doesn't compare to the SLX. So much so that it rarely gets used.

I have found that sections start spinning earlier than I would wish on the CLX.  So I tend to use it with every section open as it gets older.  I suppose it's softer than the SLX being 50% fibre glass so wears more quickly.  I wasn't sure whether to get another one but the new clamping system made up my mind.  So I have a 27 and 18ft CLX coming tomorrow.

You'll love the new clamping system Paul. Just upgraded two of my old SLX's.
It's a game of three halves!
