hose connections
« on: July 23, 2013, 12:19:30 pm »
Im trying to source a nice neat hose connection setup to build into the side of a van so I can plug the hose reel into the side of the van and lock it up while working. I have seen pics of vans with them fitted on commercially installed systems but I cant seem to find them for general sale.  Any ideas peeps.

I've always thought they looked the part but how do you repair the side of the van when you want to sell it on again??

You'd probably be best just to leave it as is. It is stainless steel after all. Sturdiest bit of the van.

I use these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CARAVAN-ELECTRIC-MAINS-OUTLET-BOX-3-PIN-PLUG-230V-SOCKET-FLAT-LID-IVORY-PO119C-/360699605343?pt=UK_Campervan_Caravan_Accessories&hash=item53fb5f315f

Put it in the bumper quarter panel and the hoses feed through the vent hole already in the van

Takes about 10 mins to drill 3 holes for inlet outlet and waste water

Pure freedom hose lock fittings just below bumper doors can be locked but you need to drill holes through floor to get hoses out but small price to pay as you can lock van
