Thought we were on a football forum with the Sir Alex bit  :)

Personally I always work with a 55° carbon gooseneck. I find that I have to stand too far away from the building with a 45°. Partially it is what you get used to though.

I think in your industry you are the best like Sir Alex Ferguson in football so in my opinion you deserve to be a Sir  ;)

55 degree on downstairs windows is very awkward. Not to mention when reaching over conservatories etc.
