Was it not books on meditation,  conscious and subconscious mind?

It's not really window cleaning related though.  However the Buddha did give some business advice to someone.  I can't remember all the details, but it went along the lines of "Live off a quarter of your income, save a quarter of your income and invest the remaining half back into your business".

I doubt the person receiving this advice had my overheads and fuel costs though.

Can't remember the name of the book off hand but I read one a while back that said save 10% and never spend it until there is nothing left anywhere else.
Works well for me...

Nap hill-think and grow rich. Brian Tracey-maximum achievement- and no excuses. Geoff Thompson - the elephant and the twig- shapeshifter- everything that happens to me is fantastic. There a good place to start, very motivational.

There is a good book for windies called " how to screw the public and get them to pay on the nail". By Snakeeyes Maluckie.

I remember Napoleon Hill from my Amway days  ;D I read a lot of books while in that game, most really helped me with my business and people skills (hard to believe I know  :-[ )

Reading can make all the difference IMO.
No still don't understand, I must be thick

Books are a way of getting away from work etc. So don't get any on business.

If you are serious and want to change your thinking for the better I recommend anything by the Dalai Lama. Start with his autobiography "freedom from exile" This book was the start of the rest of my life.
