Window Cleaning Warehouse
« on: July 17, 2013, 06:22:03 pm »
Does anyone use the Reward Points from Window Cleaning Warehouse. ???
I've been ordering stuff from them since 2010 but also shop elsewhere so I've not spent a fortune with them but maybe a couple of hundred quid over the years.
I've always found them to be slightly dearer than a lot of other places but their dispatch times are excellent.
I've just been on their site to order a wagtail whirlwind and thought I would check my account to see how many reward points I had, thinking I might get a couple of quid off.
My account reads that my reward points are 0.
What's that all about?
Also there's no history of my previous orders in my account.  ???

Andy,

Have you contacted us directly?? I'm not sure anybody on here could solve your problem!!  :D We've had a large database upgrade in the last year, so if your point are not showing up online, we have records on our in house servers along with all your orders. If you would like to redeem some points please let us know!

Also do you know we price match everyone, should you find it cheaper, along with the largest stock holdingfor next day delivery

Thanks for your reply Stephen. :D
Judging by the amount of responses this topic has received I presume I am the only one this has happened to.  :-[
I've always received great service from WCW and would never hesitate to recommend them.
I was just a bit miffed where the reward points had gone to?
But maybe as you explained was due to the database upgrade..........and computer said No! ;D
Anyway next time I place an order I will be sure to contact WCW directly to see if the issue can be resolved.
Many thanks.

Good evening Mr Fox

I ordered two merlin ro filters off your ebay website on 'buy it now'. After the usual clicking on continue and all that I was asked how I wanted to pay. I chose Visa Debit and the next screen came up with something about my order has been completed even though I'd entered no card details.

I was expecting either an email or a message via ebay but... nothing. Sorry to say I bought them elsewhere as I cannot be bothered to use websites that don't work properly.

Maybe you need to sort out either ebay or your own 'buy it now' as I don't have a clue what went wrong. It was nothing I did. I just expect websites to do what I expect which is I order and then pay with no fuss.

I didn't phone because I don't see why I need to spend my time for yet another naff internet transaction which may seem a little harsh but it's my money that I'm spending and if it don't work, I shop elsewhere.

So if you have an incomplete order from Ross Pettigrew (or Rosskesava Pettigrew), it was me.

Added afterwards - I've bought stuff off you in the past with absolutely no problem what so ever and was quite happy with price, delivery, service, etc, etc.

Added again afterwards - for the same amount of time I have spent typing this, I could have phoned Tuesday morning. Der.....
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

Site checkout is a very confusing place. Value for money shop but that checkout need's fixing.

Imagine my disappointment to discover that the thousands of reward points that I have amassed over the years of careful shopping, have been disappeared by a technical glitch.

Do I get a free hat for my trouble?? Or a pen?

I already have a finger chopper, so don't rush one of those to me.
