hello guys we are just getting in to window cleaning as a add on we've always used leaflets to get work we were after but I hear door to door is best to get window customers but a lot of people don't like door to door sales etc I know its a secret and different technics but how can we get in to it without up setting people by knocking on doors ??

It's a myth that people get upset when you knock on there door, i've knocked on thousands and never had any trouble.
Just avoid knocking on the ones which have a no canvassers sticker on their door.
People don't have to answer the door do they, if they don't want to speak to you they will just ignore you, which is fair enough.

If you leaflet drop first, then go back and knock you will get a lot better response.

If you have dropped the flyer previous to calling, you only have to say " Hi just calling to see if you received our window cleaning leaflet ".    Nine out of ten times they will say they had seen the flyer, and was going to ring, but forgot !
