What do you think the price should be

The Aqua Mix is about £30.

The work includes both sides, all the brick work and gates that you can see. Obviously time is gonna have to be spend on covering up the camera and other electrical areas.

Whats really annoying is they have told me the budget for this job.

Thanks

Alex

I said in my initial post take anyone of the 3 factors away and you will either eliminate it or drastically reduce the problem.  It needs some other work first to stop or at least slow the re occurence.  Just look at the way the tarmac is eroded.  Unless it is a new entranceway which looks unlikely there is clearly a drainage problem and the trees and bushes need cutting back.  Then tackle the efflorescence.  You need to explain it all to them then put a package together IMHO.

Knock the walls down including arch ways plus gates, remove offending trees / shrubs (forget trimming them - long term solution ;) ) remove tarmac shingle the driveway problem sorted  ;D
£4500 + vat or Cash £5000 as you have asked every question so far ie Reason for problem, chemical required and now cost only other factor remaining is time 1/2 a day  ;D Hope this helps

Kevin I'm a cleaner who cleans, tree surgeons cut trees and diddys lay tarmac. I'd just go in to make it look good and suggest nothing other than a booking for next year

We are "Natural Stone Restoration Specialists"  so we would go in and advise, quote to sort it, if they accepted and paid we tell them the cause afterwards and then put in an aftercare plan.  No we wouldn't do trees and bushes either just point it out to them in the aftercare plan.

I will however tell you the price would be more than what you suggested in your earlier post :o

don't start me on the immigrants thing  >:( I thought they were Italian bees that were used to restock after winter losses on some estate. Italian bees are really calm, prolific but don't over winter that well and as such use their stores. I have a couple of Buckfasts and a couple of local dark mongrel colonies. I never lost any over the winter but have only just got them queen right after some poor matings last summer if that what you call that rainy season.
