Soapy

Its not the panels that are the problem its the cables, if they get a split in them which can happen and water and carbon are perfect conductors of electricity
That seems a very theoretical risk. Has anyone ever been injured this way?

Pure water is a poor conductor.

It's good enough to clean the insulators of a 500,000 volt power line.  ;D

There's another video out there somewhere with someone pressure washing high voltage cables with pure water while still live as routine maintenance at a electricity sub-station.  :o
I can't seem to find it though.
