Hello Gents,

We have two Honda pressure washers at the moment for driveway cleaning. (3000/15lpm)

They have been very reliable but they lack power when using them with the larger fsc so I'm looking for a 21lpm machine. I want my Mosmatic to float 
Have been looking at the diesel Lombardini to mount in the van and the 10hp Lombardini which is trolley mounted. Can't decide which one.

What machine did you step up too? Is it worth building a dedicated van set up?
Any advice most welcome.

I've got a 17hp Lombardini FOCS engine belt driven 21 lpm interpump 202. It's key start, radiator fan etc, just had all new wiring done and replaced injectors. All mounted on a frame ready to mount in van. Runs sweet and it's quiet.

I want £900 for it.

The cheapest way is to have a reverse Y splitter, running two machines into one outlet hose!

21lpm machines are really only used sucking from a tank. Even 15lpm machines should be tank fed.

So being. Total novice here do you guys have a tank full of water and fill this off the mains as you work ?

So what's the most powerful that can be used on mains and are they any good?

I always use the customers wheelie bin. Not very proffesional I know but I have got my eyes on a "Water Buddy" from Brendon Power Wash.

That is a 15ltr machine - look for a ws202 pump to be the 21 ltrs. 10hp is not powerful enough to run the ws202 pump, I have a lombardini LDW702 to run this. Always best to have a buffer tank which is bottom fed to the pump

 I have exactly the same problem we also run two 15 LPM machines ones a GX 390 the others a lombardini. Both are struggling to run a 18 inch whirlaway efficiently, and I am reverting to the turbo lance all the time which is bloody frustrating. I also need something that can be wheeled on and off a trailer, so any other ideas would also be appreciated.

Great cleaning power. Really good for rinsing and using a FSC. Drinks a LOT of fuel on full revs but then again, you dont really need it on full revs all the time. Handy with twin outlets.

I have the same but diesel version, it only uses slightly more fuel than the Yanmar, cleaned 2 driveways today with it, 1 was around 150 m2, the other was approx. 180, also rinsed off and chased water around, used 1 full tank of fuel, run out right at the end. probably around £9, a small price to pay for the money it earned me today.. 
only downfall with it is that because it's a diesel it's pretty noisy.

 When driving the larger FSCs 21" etc  - Should I be looking at higher LPM,  ie up to 30 at 200 bar, or higher bar with lower LPM, ie 21 LPM at 300 bar.
 I understand the analogy of hitting a wall slowly with a elephant, however the wisdom of longer experience would be appreciated.
