Hi Guys

Almost always. I hate working late and much prefer an early start if outside normal hours.

I use my TM as an excuse , noise etc but it's just at my age working for 7 hours is enough!

Cheers

As a one man band , no , as a business its a must to sweat your assets , plus there is no greater feeling than earning 4 figures clear profit whilst you sleep, getting others to work for you.

I can't believe this is even being discussed.
So long as you're getting your rate.....do it.
Can anyone really afford to turn anything
down??
This is right next to another text string on
the forum (how's the hot weather affecting you?),
with half the cleaners moaning how flat it is out
there right now because of the weather???!!!!

I put down It depends.

I do the odd out of hours job but I don't go looking for the work. I don't particularly like doing it and I regret booking it in all the way till i'm actually there cleaning. I like the feeling when the work compete though, knowing that'll add to the weekly turnover :)

Like its been said, ok for quieter times but would never do that type of work in spring and summer months! Unless I had staff.

I have a habit of  quentifying  work by what it will buy me,

What if he said ...."will you clean my restaurant after 7-30pm and I will pay for you to fly out to Sharm El Shiek and put you up in a 5 star hotel all inclusive"

The last night job I did paid more than the cost of my holiday last week, how can anyone say no to working on an evening ???

As a new to the bussiness would get any job at any time to generate more income.
Week ago I did a quote for the Carlton Hotel for bar and restaurants 112 chairs, work that need to be started not earlier then 10pm. All night work.
If I get it I will do it. It is a potential of future jobs for the hotel.

This time of year would love to start at 19.30...all day off in back garden.

Everyone has their price, even Doug.

Most people are open to it, usually the well established and comfortable may chose to pass. I'd pass if it was what I could get in the day. On the other hand if I had days with big holes in them you'd be mad not to do it.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

Am i going to turn work away because its during the night , like hell I am  ........ it could lead to other work for a start, restraunters  especialy of foreign origin do tend to be a close knit community.

and the price is always a premium any way  ;D
