hi shaun, its very similar to the mini in looks and spec, cleansmart have a sale on minis at the moment £1500 inc hose and wand  set and a training day, the only reservation i have is the tank sizes which is 22ltr  where the jag cub has the advantage of 36ltr .cheers

Its  8 USA gallons ... which is 30 liters  , if its a similar tank design to bigger Jag you will be lucky to get 50% of that usable .

The Airflex mini and Alltec Express are the exact same Sandia body ..
I think the airflex mini with the inbuilt heater is the same price as the alltec .... its worth getting the heater !

You wanna buy yourself a TM mate, apparently they can eat up carpets and you can clean a four bed house in 1 hour!!

How daft do those people sound to the cleaner's who only read these forums?

i looked at the cfr a few years back but their were people having issues with the filters, also i,m looking at the smaller portys because i clean a lot of 3rd/4th floor apartments.

carpete cleaning, how do you find the tanks on the alltec, would you be able to extract a standard 5 by 4 room on 1 fill, how is the performance generally the spec looks pretty good on the cub, would the alltec be comparible..

cub has only one spec that is over the others, the pump psi which is 300
do not look at the waste and fresh water capacity as it is not accurate for Cub, the cub design will put you for emptying every 20L as you are not able to empty the tank in full and need to be carefull with not overfilling the waste tank, also as full empty is not possible, a lot dirty water is left in the tank what cause bad smell. It is good machine if you are going to use it as a booster.
Do not think so that one 6.6 engine is stronger then two 3 stage engines, no way.
Look at the machine like airflex mini with two 3 stage engines, this one has the same power as bigger version, airflex pro, just it is smaller and with smaller pump. Two 3 stage engines in series will be better as you need the power to force the aitflow - option for work with the machine inside with the short hose 7,5-15m.

ps. Cub will cost you at least 100 + vat more then mini

Whenever inquiring if one machine is better than another, or if one machine will fit your requirements, I would suggest speaking to more than one actual Operator of each particular piece of equipment you are interested in. Then, perhaps you can conclude who is telling the truth and who makes the most sense.

These boards are a great resource the majority of times however, we also have witnessed a lot of "assumptions" as well.

Whatever your decision, we all hope it will be the right one!

ed, you are absolutely right and i have asked the question on the cleantalk site aswell in order to get both sides of the arguement if you like, £1500 is a lot of money to me and its crucial that i make the correct decision, i just think i,ve made up my mind  then someone throws a spanner in the works lol.. whats your take on the  cubs tanks capacities, accurate or not?

Your comment regarding the spending of money is very understandable. We all work very hard for our money and therefore, we do not want to waste it by either paying too much; or not enough. I know this very well because I, like you, have been there.

Our 8 gallon tank is an 8 gallon tank, period. Now, having stated that, can the Operator fill the vacuum tank right to the very very top without vacuuming the water/debris down the stack pipe? Absolutely not and this can not be done on any other model/brand of equipment ,either.  Just not logical.

The 6.6 wind tunnel vacuum motor does not take a back seat either because adding this technology in the system, it was so strong that we had to add and install a stabilizer for tank strength and also did a little customizing on our unique vacuum lid proving newer designed "air-flow" slots.

However, once again, I suggest that you speak with a few who have ----actually used----the equipment you are considering and rely less on "assumptions', or older past model years. This way you will surely make the right decision for you and not from someone else.

Ed be real, I could only use max 30 liters in the waste tank of my scorpion machine, after that the water was going to the engines, design with the pipes, elbows etc is just so  bad, thats all.

Your machines are just worst on the market amoung your competitors with 6.6, and I am not saying that becouse I had bad experience with Solutions, just becouse I had experience with Scorpion, Jag is the same design, the same casing, the same solutions used.  Done the cheap way and expensive to buy. The machine that needs special sales platform like CT to push people to buy it.

The airflex mini twin vac is a great little machine you should be able to get one on ebay for about £800
if you can wait the design is great for stair climbing I used mine to clean full houses with no problem if you want to make it more productive get a mytee pump out and fit a autofill but I would not buy new at £1500
I would save more and get the 5.7 electros and built in heater if available for the airflex this is the set up Russ has on his express think he also got it with 2" hose connection cant comment on the cub as not seen or used one the express also looked good but don't think the built in heater can match the magma.

Yes Jim... my Express has the electro motors fitted and the 2" barb which offer both hose connection options.
The inline heater is great.. no... its really great! and provides enough piping hot water to the supplied 2 jet wand.
My machine has a switch fitted to regulate the power to the heater, setting 1 is perfect for upholstery cleaning whereas setting 2 is best for regular carpet cleaning.
Alltec fitted a 150 psi pump to my Express... very good flow and to be honest you wont need more...

19 litres was enough to rinse a average sized lounge / dining room and a landing

fit auto fill and you could sell the enforcer
