Hi

If you was using the airflex turbo why not to upgrade to Airflex Storm, at the moment these are the best on the market among the portables.
There is also Mytee escape but might be not good for you if you are looking for typical portable.

We've all jumped on the 6.6 vacs being the greatest but I wonder what the difference in upgrade is from a triple vac to the dual 6.6?

a bit more power and extra options like auto empty, remote control - Storm, less ampers giving options usuing Magma or other inline heater on one of the cords and more....
Angelo if you are working with the machine with the short lenght of the hose then there is no point to upgrade, I think.

Are you saying that on the storm you can run 2 x 6.6 vacs a pump and a magna heater on 2 cords?

yes, this is what I do

one cord supplies 1 engine and pump, the other one only engine and on that one I am using somethimes magma.

technically it says 13A for Magma, but it works, it does not  blow the fuses inside the plugs. It should be around 20A altogether. So, most of houses should be able to take it.

Yes , gotta remember the legend of the 6.6 performance was founded on hype and indeed misinformation .  With one manufacturer claiming a pair had 263" lift and anything from 325 to 400+ cfm .
Most had decided the 6.6 was an upgrade to three vacs before the machines even reached them .
Fact is a pair of parallel 6.6 has about 120" lift and 280cfm ...  still very good for  twin vac machine .
A triple three stage on paper has 137 " lift and 300cfm .
Some manufactures felt compelled to use the 6.6 im sure ... others flat refused due to low lift .

Which is the best machine ?

I would consider the it a close race between the Enforcer ... with its series electro motors and built in 3kw heat ( or better two 3kw heaters on a switch )
The series electros have received favorable reviews from former 6.6 and triple vac owners .

The Airflex ... storm or the 'custom '  ( which can have the exact same spec as the Enforcer )

The Alltec Evolution  or advance ...  beautifully engineered ,some might not like the looks , other see quality .
the Alltec .. elite could be the dark horse in terms of value for full size machine , the smaller version ( express ) gets great reviews . ( can also be built to enforcer spec i think )

I think those three manufactures are building the best high end machines in the world at the moment .

The jag is very light weight and the customer service is excellent, looks aren't the best.

Withall of these machines offering what would look the same but actually aren't you can understand why suppliers are so protective.

Now are we saying that 3 x 3 stage electro motors are more powerful than the other set ups?

if you've been on the other forum  ...   its not really a forum , its a heavily censored sales platform , you wont get  impartial machine information there  .

If it were my forum it would be all about me and my company and how nice I am so I guess they can say what they want if you want to believe or not it is up to you I personally think I'm the nicest person I know!

Ciu is totally independent with all its savoury and unsavoury characters but again you have to get past the rough edges first.

Shaun

If that's not nicely moderated I don't know what is!

angelo, if you like smell coming from the machine and constant cleaning of the waste tank, if you like the buttons on the bottom of the machine, if you like bad and ugly design, if you like the way that the seller does the marketing and much more then go for Jag.  ;D

how do you use your machine for the most of time? with you inside the premises? having on the van with over 15 meters of the hoses? or....?

o yeh, remote makes the life so better
and if you compare the prices, accesories given with the machine you will find that Storm is cheaper, much cheaper.

ps. angelo, if your 3 engines are ok for you then you can send an email to the cleansartsupplies to fit the rest of options from the storm to your machine, like auto empty, remote etc. think that they can do that for you, or even change the engines.

Shaun

The newer motored series machines seem to performing well going by user posts here and some testing reports iv read by members on TMF .
I think series might have an edge up to 100ft ....  a parallel machine might be advantageous on runs 100 ft+ .
But really most portable jobs are less than 100ft.
The convenience of a single cord machine with 3kw heater on cord two would probably out weigh the ability to occasionally run more hose , to me anyway .
