Ihave a complete set up for sale on here.  Numatic system..do you really need 4200 watts to vac gutters? You will need a generator as big as your van!

When you compare the suction of the 4200 to others it is almost double the suction !   If you can give me the litres per second of your machine I will have a look  ;D

You don't need 4200watts for a gutter vac IMHO!!!  The minute a vac goes over 3300watts (510L/Min) they become dust extraction machines.  Where did you see a gutter vac that is 4200Watts?   Unless you are talking about the omnivac:

If you really want that sort of power let me know and I will get you one but it will be around £1500, 3 Phase (5800L/Min) as well of course.  I can even get you an 8000Watt one if you want with twin turbines and over 16000L/Min airflow

I have a 12Kva 3 phase generator - on the 3 phase 5800LPM I would presume that would be enough, do they have auto dumpout? and also the cost on the 8000 watt?

Do you have a link?

Klindex do a massive range of specialist vacuums.  I can get you anything you want! What application do you need it for?  The big one is twin turbine and costs around £7000 before discount. I can post you the links on Monday. In the meantime have a look on www.klindex.it

We have used two for yrs .. built like tanks last forever, using smooth bore suction hoses work fine as gutter vacs or std wet vac, Never had an issue with capacity as its 70 litres..
I think even our modiifed WVD 1800 AP is 'only' 70 litres, why would you need any larger volume for gutter vacuuming ??

This is beginning to get misunderstood.  There was a link posted about a 2400w Numatic after I said nothing more than a 3300watt was required.  I am not knocking the Numatic as a Vac and indeed the bodies on them are their best feature.  However the OP asked about a 4200Watt Vac.  Here is the spec on the Numatic off their own site

   2xTwinflo
Power   230V AV 50/60Hz
Motor Power   2400 W
Airflow   76 L/sec
Suction   2500 mm
Capacity Dry   40 L
Capacity Wet   32 L
Cleaning Range   26.8 m
Weight   25 kg
Size   800x490x880mm

That is why I said the capacity was too small for a gutter vac in my opinion.  No one needs to agree with me!!!

Chris

I don't mind telling you about our gutter Vacs or any other of the vacs because essentially they are all the same.  We buy 60% of our vacs from Germany, 10% from a company in the UK.  The other 30% from Italy.

German Vacs  Body, Head Tools, Frame and wheels made in China, motors made in Italy then all assembled or modified and CE Marked in Germany.  They supply us with Normal 3300watt Vacs, Gutter Vacs (Same thing with 50mm Inlet) and Pump out Vacs (Same thing but with German Pump and brass outlets).

UK Vacs  All Made in China 3300watts

Italian Vacs all made by Soteco in Italy.

The Italian vacs look exactly the same as the chinese ones but they are £240 more expensive!!!

I have been operating these types of vacs for over 8 Years and believe me they have been pushed to the limit probably worked harder than anyone of 99.9% of people on this Forum has ever experienced in that they have vacced up probably millions of litres of grinding slurry and I have never had one go wrong other than a wheel broken and even that was operater error.  This goes for the German and the Italian ones.  The Italian ones are slightly better build quality.  We have sold 1000's of these Vacs and had 3 problems in total other than wheels and castors and all those were operator error.  We have had one motor out of three go on two vacs and Rob Hall had a problem with a seal or something on an 11 month old one.

We don't sell anything unless we vigourously test it  Everything we sell we also use it ourselves!  We don't tell people to buy something and then use something else ourselves!  That is why we can offer solid advice on every product we sell because we have genuine experience in using it as well!
