To rinse or not to rinse? That is the question.

Just read another topic where folk mentioned they don't rinse and I'm interested to find out who doesn't.
I always rinse but if not rinsing still does a good job then it'd save a lot of time and water. ;D

i have no choice,i live by the sea and with the salt i have to rinse well  :(

I clean the windows thouroughly with a mono brush and don't normally rinse unless I have just cleaned a sill or sometimes I'll rinse conservatory's or porches if I see bits on them

different techniques for different windows
compare the results

lots of scrubbing less scrubbing

Depends on the size of the window,  small windows a quick brush over is fine as the water is rinsing the window as you clean anyway. I've found that large windows and patio doors need a good rinse after they've been scrubbed though, just to make sure you get the crappy water all the way off the glass.
