Is This Over The Top?
« on: July 06, 2013, 09:55:32 pm »
Er, I have just been sorting my van and noticed I seem to have an abundance of poles! Here's what I've got:

1x CLX 10
2x CLX 14
2x CLX 18
3x Brodex Hydra 18' (!)
1x Brodex 35'
1x Extreme 25' with the 35' extension, 44' extension and another extension kit!

I have an abundance of sizes and strength brushes and widths and angles of goosenecks on these poles along with some spares.

Is that madness or is it being completely equipped for every kind of work??! ???

I'd have to do a complete stock take, but I know I got 3x 90 degree carbon goosenecks, 2x 45 degree goosenecks, some standard resinecks, some quick-loq jobbies, 2x standard mixed extreme brushes, 1x wide mixed super lite, 1x stiff sill brush, 3x wide soft superlites, 2x 10" standard Brodex brushes and a wide Brodex brush.

I don't have any unger stuff though... :( :( :(

Over the top nah not when you have three working out of the van

Don't really see any point in the 10 and 14 as 18's can do more

As long as the staff can manage the weight of the Brodex poles they will go on forever

Can't have enough quality tools IMO

I have a garage full of crappy poles xtel, hydra alloy and so on.
Thanks to the information on this forum I am now getting into Gardiners poles and brushes.
Its great to come home from a days cleaning without my arms feeling like lead.

I have only one pole now which is probably considered rubbish on this forum as it's not a Gardiner's pole.

It's a carbon fibre Ionics 32ft (I think) pole.

It does every thing I want.

Anything higher than that, I get someone else to do and take a percentage.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

I have different sizes including 8ft, 12ft, 22ft, 35ft swifts, 45ft swifts, 65ft ergo lights, modular up to 90ft

They are mainly all Ionics, although I have just bought s some 22 and 35ft Facelift poles which are very good.
