As our round is so compact, returning to clean the rear windows isnt an issue in the slightest.

I would prefere doing this, than phoning customers the night before, before anyone suggests that  :)

Hi James
"Send on this payment"
How do they normally send it?
Is it cheque or cash in an envelope or BACS?
Do you give out your BACS details separately?

I don't offer BACS payment chap. Its something I have thought about, but am happy with the way its set up already. Things are running just fine.

1 - My round is so compact its not an issue

2 - Texting the night before, means I HAVE TO go to that house tomorrow. What if it rains, what if I want the day off?

So do you give them the option of sending a payment or giving you access to their rear?

I dont see any issue with his invoices,  my round is also compact and I sometimes write on it to call me if they want the back done and I generally only have to drive a few blocks that day.

I only drive 100 miles a week, diesel costs are £15 a week and I have over 300 customers.

i also think you should text the night before so you can clean all their windows in one visit as you will be wasting time that you dont need to waste going back.

as for not offering BACS payments YES I DO THINK YOUR NUTS!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

BACS payments are just so great!not having to go bank as often to deposits cheques and waiting for them to clear.the moneys straight into your account ready to use if you need to!!

we are only trying to give you advice mate to make your round more smooth and efficient.

very best wishes

Just put 'weather permitting' in the text .
You'd know if you want the next day off before any messages get sent surely?
Also, I always confirm with my customers from the start that if I've messaged them and then i turn up to find gate locked then its ok for me to jump etc..
If they don't want me jumping, and gates locked after text, I charge 75%  :)
