WFP - Advantages/Disadvantages
« on: July 05, 2013, 06:38:36 pm »
Im going to be handing out a fact sheet to my customers stating the advantages of using WFP.

Every now and again the odd customer makes a comment like 'pure water? pfffft, pull the other one'

The only disadvantage I shall be stating is the fact that top sills might not always be perfect, thus covering my back just incase.

So:
Advantages are...

Safety aspect
Ladder indents in grass
No more looking in bedroom windows at 8am  :D
Cleans to a better standard
Quieter

feel free to add anymore, i'm off out and will construct letter tomorrow  ;D

I wouldn't bother bringing attention to it by handing a fact sheet out... It's a tool for cleaning windows.

Agree with the above customers want clean windows and have no interest in how
you achieve it.
There are no advantages for customers getting their windows cleaned by wfp methods.
A clean window is a clean window nothing more.

If its only the odd one here and there dont bother with a fact sheet .... do what I do and drag em to your van, show em your system, whip out your tds meter and show them how pure your water is compared with a cup of their tap water (need spare tds metre in van) ... bore em with reverse osmasis and di vessels ... bore em a bit more with cations etc etc and mixed bed resin, show them how good your poles are assuming u use gardiners, bore em a bit more saying how we in the uk lead the world with this technology ... blah blah blah blah ........... at this point they want to get away from you and funny enough they NEVER EVER mention it again  ;D

Rather than handing out a fact sheet why not write what you were gonna and put it on your website.
It'll obviously increase traffic which can only be a good thing

Dear Customer,

Your windows will be cleaned shortly using a method that will soon become the industry standard – The Water Fed Pole System
The system uses extendable poles and 100% pure water that has been purified through reverse osmosis & de-ionization vessels.

We are now using this technology for a number of reasons:

1) ). HEALTH & SAFETY – A new legislation from Europe now limits the use of ladders. The law now states that ladders can only be used when all viable alternatives have been considered, and now The Water Fed Pole System is seen as a safer and more viable alternative for window cleaning.

2). BETTER CLEANING RESULTS – The major advantage of pure water is that it absorbs large amounts of dirt from your windows. The process involves brushing your windows clean with pure water; as such they will be left wet and will need time to dry naturally. This may be a bit disconcerting at first, as obviously this is not what our customers are used to. However, once dry your windows WILL be clean and smear free also using this process all your frames will be cleaned as well not just your sills.

3). ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY – Only pure water is used, eliminating the need for detergents and chemicals.

4). IMPROVED SERVICE – We can now reach with ease previously inaccessible aspects of your property. Hard to reach windows above conservatory’s, Third floor windows, skylights, etc…

Please note that if your windows have been cleaned in the past using detergents or chemicals it may take 1 or 2 visits using our Water Fed Pole System to remove soapy residue, this may result in minor spotting on your windows. However please be assured that once this is cleared you will be more than happy with the results.

My aim is to continue to provide a high level of service. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding the above or any other aspect of our services.
                                                    Thanks

Nice one pal. Just what I was after.

I'm not bothered if its only the one customer. That one customer can tell a thousand people.

By giving every single customer a fact sheet, should any one question my methods again id say 'did you read that f**king fact I gave you explaining all this'  ;D

When I changed over a year ago I started telling all of them with print outs.  It was a waste of time, its better to explain it to each one personally.

I have it down to a tee --- I clean from the ground with pure deionized water so no ladders, its not tap water so it wont leave marks, because it does not have anything in the water, it leaves nothing behind so no spots.

lets go look at the front once I have finished the back, look no marks....

______________

PS when changing over from soap to pure water or first clean ALWAYS wash them twice and you should not get any spots....  It saves so much hassle.

Well all the ladder guys seem to be falling off and breaking some part of themselves.  So if they shouted that at me I would have shouted back - at least I dont have far to FALL ...
