Swivel Brush
« on: February 28, 2006, 05:01:55 pm »
Iv`e been testing my swivel brush today and it works a treat  ;D
i was even able to stand in one place and clean 4 windows, the head moves from side to side with ease and you adjust the angle up or down with your adjustable neck,it is perfect for getting at windows above garages and conservatorys with ease and should be good for getting between bars on 2 and 3 storey houses but this i have`nt yet tried,Gaz

Gaz does the water pass through the jetts as normal, or is it over the brush spray as its a swivel.

The water is fed through the jets in the brush,it works great,so when you are reaching a window on the side of a house over a garage you can still have the brush sitting straight with pole on an angle,i`ll get some pics done this week while im using it,Gaz

Would b great to see some pics as i have a few flats with pointless railings that it sounds like these brushes would really sort out... at the mo it takes me ages even with a WFP...

Hi Gaz,

Looks good. And those frames...shiny!

Wondered how it is on your back and shoulder muscles?
Reason I ask is that I've been struggling a bit when poling windows above conservatory roofs, as the angle that the pole needs to be held at seems to cause excessive strain on the muscles.

Is it easier on the muscles or do you find it makes no difference?

Thanks in advance,

Jonathan (Getting old!)

How much control would you have if working on a window with a vent above it  like the one in the photo  :-\

Hi Jonathan,it is easier to control so you don`t struggle as much to get the brush to sit straight because of the swivel action so you are`nt putting as much strain on your muscles, but also the brushes i use are light anyway, hope this helps.

John,it is very easy to work on a window with vents as you have much better control to get the brush to sit straight, so you don`t have the brush on an awkward angle and you are not getting water in the vents, well it works for me anyway  ;D,Gaz

Hi Gaz, really interested in these salmon brushes. I've got 3 poles with Vikan brushes and would like to change them all over. Like the sound of bristles that don't hold dirt. Could you e-mail me details of what parts i'd need to convert and how much.
Cheers, Matt.
