New Xtreme Hybrid brush
« on: June 28, 2013, 03:21:27 pm »
Bugger just appeared on Gardiners site and i ordered a mixed Xtreme 2 days ago . Good pics of new design brush though really like it .

Buffers on the end of brushes to reduce brush end bristle loss ( trying saying that fast after a few pints ) . Lighter plastic and 2 grooves carved out to make it a bit lighter as well , very very nice  :D :D :D . Mike

Oh, this one  http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/The-Super-Lite--Brush-Range-for-Full-Information-Click-Link-Below-BRU_XT_BLURB.html

 ;D

Where did I put my credit card?

So, are they all like this now Alex, or do you still have to shift the old stock with the built in scraper?

They are all like this now  - as has been noted above we do still have 4 of the old style medium mixed ones fitted with fanjets for sale - these were 'overlooked' in the switchover process.

Personally I prefer the new Xtreme Medium Mixed brush to the flocked hybrid. However for those that like a flocked brush, a softer feeling brush and a fuller bristle feel on the glass brush these are good. They replace both the older Xtreme soft and the older Xtreme flocked.

The inner bristles are made of semi-absorbent nylon which helps improve the brushes scrubbing ability.

Alex, do they all come with JG 'T' fittings now or the 'orrible white plastic ones?

All of our brushes now come with push-fit John Guest type T connectors as standard along with suitable jet hose.

It says the flocked brush is suitable for rinsing on the glass?

It is, the outer bristles are only lightly flocked and the inner bristles and non-flocked semi-absorbent nylon.

Are these new brushes wider than the extreme. Personally I like the older wider brushes.
