Chewing gum removal using a backpack ?
« on: June 28, 2013, 06:45:00 am »
For the experienced guys on here, does anyone actually use / run backpack's for gum removal ??
Considering offering a Maint service after a deep clean, backpack's will solve usual problems if gum / paving is maintianed on a regular basis / contract.

If you do use them could you share running costs, we would only use these on maint cleaning hence gum would be as low 2 peices /m2

Thank you in advance  8)

Carl I did see that post,  prefer 'gum clears' old model... Really after seeing if anyone on here has actually used one

Mike,
Is thst the one that freezes it? Im trying to push a maintenance contract for the big IKEA gum job we just did. Was looking into these backpacks for quickness. Id really want to try one beforehand to see the speed and also how long the canisters lasted.

I only know of the bazooka that freezes the gum - funny how we always resort to the same old methods in the end - heat either steam or water

no matt, very similar to the one which Kevin posted, sold bazooka gun as hardly ever used it, post was to see if any end users are using backpacks to get indication of costs, would be nice to trial one to start with maybe on lease contract hire ?
