Custie asked me today would i clean the channels/grooves inside the windows (when you open window, were locking mechanism is)

Told her be there all day and then some don't have time for them jobs.
(did it once on a bungalow and took alot longer than expected).

What's the best answer to jobs you don't want.

Sorry my Insurance won't let me do that!

Also clean some static homes (glorified caravans without wheels!)

One customer asked me if i cleaned frames (do these trad)

Answered " give frames a wipe around" which i do.

Conversation ended up being a; want frames brought up near new but thought it would be twice-ish the price.
Charge them £7 so £14-£20 for upvc clean 

Ended up in a debate about price method
some customers really are pushy.
What do you tough business men do.

I got asked to clean all the outside, windows and gutters of a static caravan thing last week.
And today got asked if I could clean the INSIDE and outside of a greenhouse.

No matter what it is, never actually decline work.
Price it accordingly. Go in at £300p/h sub it to a doley and you're quids in.
Better to be thought of expensive rather than lazy.

Nowt as queer as folk. Walkups allways put me on the back foot for some reason, and people who phone me up. These seem to be the worst types. You would think they would be the best types and the people we canvass the worst  i think i live in upside down worl sometimes!

Told her couldn't look at it til 2 weeks.

She said had to be done before the weekend as friends coming

I did a conservatory roof clean this morning.
Customer says to me "I see from the sign writing on your van that you offer other services, gutter/fascia cleaning etc."
"Yes that's right." I replied.
Then he says to me "I've got a problem with birds sitting up on the apex of the roof and pooping down on to the pathway near the back door, it's a real nuisance.
I've bought a PLASTIC FALCON to attach to the tv aerial (20ft up the wall). 
Hopefully that will scare the birds away.
Could you get up on the ladder and fix it up there for me?".
