I would not worry about speed, but the replacement parts if it goes wrong which is unlikely (tonka toy) ;)

Is it not an old HILD machine. Prochem used to retail them but parts are no longer available. They had the best shower feed shampoo brush ever.

We had someone the other day bought a machine off e bay for £130 + £29 postage with no driveboard, tank or brush and it cost him over £290 off Victor to get the bits so a total of £460 inc postage for a 2nd hand machine with no history and no warranty!  Madness???

Check the parts are available before purchase, check the rating plate and check parts are still available!

I had one its about 175rpm, was a 15 inch diameter but there was a 17 inch one as well. When the franchise was sold the compliance manger said he would have to take it back to the warehouse and they would offer me the 'going rate for it' as it has the name servicemaster stamped on it. This was after the franchise was sold and paper work signed off
I sold it to another licensee anyway but seemed a bit odd to give something up before getting the value of it. They do seem to be pretty bomb proof units though. Was not in yellow either - bonus!!!
