Was working in some offices today and got talking to a guy who is a keen fisherman.
He told me about a company who repair carbon fishing poles.
Apparently they do a great job, I see no reason why our poles could not be fixed in the same way.
I was wondering if they could wrap a sleeve over the worn part to extend the life.
Anyone tried this?
I may give them a call tomorrow if I get time.

I had a section of my superlite roll into the road, instead of stopping some dick ran it over.
At over a hundred quid for a new section I wish I had known about this company then.

I wasn't funny 
I was on the roof of the building, one of my guys was working below, I heard the section hit the ground, then heard a car horn followed by a crunch. 
I knew straight away what it was. I was gutted.
On  the bright side it was one of the final sections so I saved the top half. sealed the break and now have a very useful half section.
